In 1985, Georgia did a small blanket business selling assorted items at local re-enactment events. One day, she had a garment she had made in a color that was wrong for the intended wearer. "Perhaps," she thought, "someone else could use it." So she sold it. When the buyer asked for more, the Likely Lotus was born.
